Our sun balm was formulated to effectively prevent sunburns while avoiding the toxins of modern sunscreens.
Each jar comes with 60ml of balm and is estimated to be 35-40 SPF.
Ingredients:
100% Grass Fed Beef Tallow-
Tallow is the cornerstone for all our skin products. It supplies your skin with the nutrients and vitamins to heal and stay hydrated.
Organic Coconut Oil
High quality, unrefined coconut oil is a great hydrator and naturally contains a sun protection factor.
Non-Nano Zinc Oxide-
The primary protective ingredient. Unlike the zinc used in most “healthy” sunscreen, Non nano zinc powder is too large to be absorbed by the skin, and does not pass the blood-brain barrier.
Organic Beeswax-
The beeswax works as a seal to defend against water for long lasting protection.
Organic Cacao Powder-
Cacao is known to work as a great nourisher of the skin, and also provides an earthy scent.
Tallow is the cornerstone of all of our products. Not only does it promote beautiful, clear skin, but historically it has been used to treat acne, eczema, dryness, and more.
Tallow is a 0 on the comedogenic score, meaning it will not clog pores or cause acne. It's also full of vitamins that can't be found in synthetic ingredients.
All of our tallow is sourced from small farms that maintain the highest standards for their cattle. 100% Grass Fed, Pasture raised, happy, and healthy.
Unfortunately the vast majority of tallow (even grass fed) is low quality and not ideal for the skin. This is why all of our tallow is personally picked up from the farm and rendered in house, for the best tallow possible.
